Rovio releases Angry Birds Space

Posted by Dan Mousavi On March - 22 - 2012

Today Rovio released the fourth installment in their Angry Birds series. In Angry Birds Space the eggs get abducted through a wormhole and the birds follow them and get transformed on the way.
The twist in this version is that the birds are influenced by gravity, which is represented by bubbles around the asteroids/planets. Your birds will fly endlessly in space, but when they get inside one of the bubbles, they get pulled towards the center. This results in a lot of u-turn shots and interesting challenges. There is also a new bird (or better said the white bird got transformed), which turns everything into ice where it hits. There are also new hidden eggs, which will warp you into a bonuslevel, when you find and hit them. You’ll find the first one in Level 1-09.

Angry Birds Space is a lot of fun and will probably be as successful as its predecessors, if you liked them, you probably didn’t read this article and just downloaded it already. If you didn’t like the gameplay, then the new gravity spin on it will probably not be enough to convert you.

Angry Birds seasons now available

Posted by Dan Mousavi On December - 1 - 2010

Rovio just released Angry Birds seasons for Android. This version contains 25 Christmas themed levels as well as the 45 Level Halloween edition packaged as a special episode. After the huge success that Angry Birds had on Android, I’m pretty sure this version will be equally popular. Since it is a little bit more difficult, I recommend that new players start with the original.
Just like the first Angry Birds, this one is also available for free on Android (ad supported). In the newsletter Rovio also announced, that they are still working on a version with lighter graphics for weaker handsets and after that they will introduce a payment system to opt-out of advertising.

Angry Birds now available on the market ( and it’s free!)

Posted by Dan Mousavi On October - 15 - 2010

Nearly every Android gamer knows Angry Birds by now, the most successful Iphone Game is now available for our plattform and the special surprise is, that it is free (ad supported). This came a little unexpected, because a title that is this successful on other plattforms would have done great with a paid version.
But now there is no way around this game, if you have a Android phone, you owe it to yourself to download this game immediately.
If you have a Galaxy S, or another phone where the game won’t appear in the market for you, you can download the full game from GetJar.

Crush the Castle

Posted by Dennis Zimpel On August - 7 - 2010

Crush the Castle is now available for 99ct. The Android version, as opposed to the Flash version, itself is very compelling and comprehensive which gives you plenty of playtime. Although Crush the Castle’s concept was the basis for the top Iphone game ‘Angry Birds’, the original didn’t do as well as Rovio’s version which is also highly anticipated for the future release on Android.
