Zenonia 3 will be released today and it’s free!

When Gamevil released Zenonia on the Android Market, it was the first real action rpg game that graced our plattform. Nearly every gamer knows this title, since it is one of the most successful Android game series available (at the time of this writing, Zenonia 2 ist still #6 and Zenonia #19 in the top paid gaming charts).
Today Gamevil will release the third chapter in the series and according to their Twitter account, this time the whole game will be free.
The first two Zenonia already have a fake “free” version, you know, a mislabeled Demo that only shows the first 15 minutes of the game, so we’ll stay sceptical until the release, we will update this post, when we get our hands on the game later today. A few posts down they say it has in-app billing, so we’ll wait and see if this is really free.
Update It’s out now and it really is free, I played through the first dungeon and the first town until the game opens up. The only place where you can spend money is in the in game shop, where you can buy gold, transport scrolls, special armor etc.

All Gamevil games available for 0,99$

Gamevil is one of the top adresses when it comes to 2D games on Android, they are mostly famous for the popular action rpg Zenonia, but they have a lot of other cool games and now you can get all their releases for under a dollar.
I’m not so sure what the reason is, but if I would guess, it could be because they just had a huge hit on the iPhone with their new game Air Penguin, which will come to Android soon. The game reached #1 in the paid apps section in the USA, France, Germany and Netherlands and and brought them over 1 Million in revenue in the first 30 days. No matter what’s the reason, if you held out on some of their games (like I did with Zenonia 2 and Illusia, because I already have too much unfinished 50+ hour grinder installed at the moment), now is the perfect time to get them.
