Hello everyone and welcome back to another Top List.
The year started strong for Android with a lot of great games that have come out in the last month, from the long awaited Spectral Souls to surprise releases like Crystal Defenders, this month was a decent beginning for the year, where Android gaming will mature and become a fully recognized gaming plattform.
We skipped the January List since we already had some recommendations out for Christmas, so we also included some games from December.
We also kicked the QR Codes in favor of a Link to the new Android Market website, you can now also click the links when you are on a device that is not android to get to the offical market page.

Here are the 25 best paid games that we saw in the last 2 months, the 25 best free games will follow on Wednesday.

Spectral Souls – Resurrection of the Ethereal Empires

Tactical RPG is usually a niche genre that rarely gets mentioned in the western gaming media. But the japanese developer Hyperdevbox decided to take the gamble to bring this genre to our beloved Android plattform and to the rest of the world and while doing that they delivered us the biggest Android game that we have seen yet in every way (size, playtime, artwork, soundtrack, you name it). This is a highly upgraded port of a full PS 2 game, and since it is the first of it’s kind, this may be the first Android game that really needs a review to help you decide, if you want to fetch over the relative high price of roughly 10,50€.

Hyperdevbox announces Spectral Souls, 1GB of S-RPG Goodness

Today on the Google Developer Day in Tokyo, Hyperdevbox will show their new game Spectral Souls, a tactical rpg in the style of Final Fantasy Tactics, for the first time.
According to a posting on Androidforums, Spectral Souls will have over 1GB on Data, over 50 music tracks and video cutscenes.
Spectral Souls: Resurrection of the Ethereal Empires is already available for PSP (it was released 2006 in North America), but the Android port will have Highres graphics.
The game is planned for a release at the end of this year.
